RentColocation.com is a buyer-side colocation desk. Send a power and space spec, or the renewal notice your facility just sent, and facilities that fit bid blind against it. Every bid comes back on one 36-month landed cost, and you sign direct with the facility you pick.
Who runs it
The desk is run by the infrastructure and AI systems practice at Wells Software Consulting LLC, which designs and operates distributed systems, GPU infrastructure and the procurement tooling behind RentServers.com, its sister desk for GPU clusters and dedicated server fleets.

What we are, and what we are not
- We represent the buyer. Facility sales teams price for the buyer in front of them. We put several facilities in front of the same spec, at the same time, on the same basis.
- We own no data centers and have no capacity to fill. No space to push, no capex to recover, so the ranking follows your 36-month cost and fit.
- You sign direct. Your agreement is with the facility, on its paper, at its price. We don't resell space or add a margin to it.
- Bids are blind. Facilities see the technical spec, never your name, email, company or files, until you pick one.
How a request runs
- You send the spec, or the current contract and renewal notice.
- We invite at least three facilities that can meet the power, density, redundancy and network needs. How facilities are chosen.
- Every bid is normalized: rent, power model and billed PUE, cross-connects, transit, remote hands, setup, escalators and SLA credit caps, over 36 months.
- You get a shortlist with the lowest-cost, best SLA and network, and fastest-delivery options marked, within one business day of a complete request.
- You pick, we introduce, you sign direct.
How we're paid
Participating providers pay our desk a placement commission when a buyer we introduce signs. It never changes their price or how we rank them. Standard sourcing is free for buyers. How we make money.
