What we collect
When you submit the request form: your name, work email, company, optional phone number, and the capacity requirements you enter. Our server also records your IP address and the time of the request, for security and spam prevention. If you enter a phone number, Twilio checks that it's a real number and what type of line it is (mobile, landline or VoIP). Every form on the site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots; Cloudflare processes limited technical data for that check. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email, company, topic and message, and deliver the message to ourselves through FormBold. If you use "Describe it in your own words", the text you type is sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to fill in the form fields, and the original description is added to your request notes. If you choose "I have a server, invoice or renewal notice", we also collect your current provider, plan, quantity, price and renewal date, and any invoice or renewal notice you upload. If your request is large enough that we offer a call booking and you use it, the booking is made with Calendly, which receives the name and email you give it. If you request Private LLM Hosting, we keep the plan, server, model, expected load, payment method and use you describe. If you buy Managed AI Hosting or Private LLM Hosting, we also keep the billing details needed to invoice you and the configuration of the service we run for you. You own the data you put into that service.
How we use it
To respond to your request. Providers bid blind: we send them the technical requirements only, never your name, email, phone number or company, and never a file you uploaded. We introduce you, with your contact details, only to the provider you choose. If you turn on renewal monitoring, we use your renewal date to send you fresh quotes before it. For Managed AI Hosting and Private LLM Hosting, to deploy, run, support, and bill the service you asked for. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
Analytics
If you click "Accept analytics", we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages lead to quote requests. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and form steps such as the server category you chose. It never receives your name, email, phone or company. If you reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics doesn't load. Google signals and ad personalization are off, and data is kept for 14 months.
Who we share it with
Providers we contact on your behalf (technical requirements only, until you choose one). For Managed AI Hosting and Private LLM Hosting, the infrastructure provider that hosts the servers we manage, only as needed to run the service you asked for. Stripe, which processes Private LLM Hosting payments: card and bank details go to Stripe, never to us. Also Anthropic, which reads descriptions typed into the optional "Describe it in your own words" box; Resend, which sends our email; Twilio, which checks phone numbers; FormBold, which delivers contact-form messages; Calendly, only if you book a call; our hosting provider; and, only if you accept analytics, Google. Each provider you receive a quote from handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Retention and your choices
We keep uploaded invoices and renewal notices for 90 days, then delete them. They're never published or forwarded to providers. We keep request records for up to three years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We keep Managed AI Hosting and Private LLM Hosting billing records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Email privacy@rentservers.com to access, correct or delete your data.
Cookies
We don't use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets its cookies (names starting with _ga) only after you accept analytics; rejecting deletes them. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, and you can change it any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Turnstile may set a cookie needed for the bot check.
